One thing that really drives me insane while dieting is feeling like I’m not able to eat a delicious breakfast (that doesn’t consist of a boiled egg or avocado). I’m a girl who loves her traditional waffles and pancakes! With this recipe, you don’t have to feel guilty eating a stack of pancakes to start your morning. They’re delicious, fluffy, and just what you need for some creativity in your healthy-eating lifestyle! Oh, and did I mention super duper easy? 😍🙌🏼

Ingredients

1/2 cup old fashioned oats
1/4 cup apple sauce
1 banana
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup walnuts

Directions

1. Blend your oats in a magic or nutribullet until ground (you may try this in a regular blender as well).
2. Add in your apple sauce, chopped banana, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, and walnuts. Blend until fully mixed.
3. Spray a flat pan with non-stick spray and allow to warm up on medium heat.
4. Pour batter in 4-6 inches in diameter (thinly). You may use a spoon to move around the batter to spread out or make more round, if needed!
5. Flip after about 30-45 seconds and keep on for another 30-45 seconds, then remove (you may need to adjust this step according to the strength of your stove, so be sure to experiment with this)!
6. Top with additional fruit, walnuts, low calorie whip, a bit of syrup (or honey), and cinnamon if you’d like!
7. Enjoy! 🥞😋
