WHERE TO GET STARTED.
Beginning a new and improved lifestyle can be a little difficult and overwhelming... Especially when you're unsure about where to even start. Sometimes you might feel discouraged to even begin changing your lifestyle because you feel like you don't have anything to eat and because you don't have the foods you need at your fingertips. This always used to happen to me and it sucked! I ended up just going back to my old, bad eating habits because I was left feeling stuck and starving! The best thing you could do is to P R E P A R E yourself!
FIRST THINGS FIRST:
In order for you to truly succeed at least the first 3 weeks of your new lifestyle, you have to get rid of the junk. So, if you can, clean out your pantry and refrigerator and get rid of all that processed, artificial, and fattening stuff you have. If you find this truly impossible because your kids eat these things, find a huge container and store their snacks in their and keep it out of the pantry and out of your sight. Out of sight, out of mind! And in the mean time... Try gradually getting your kids to eat healthier snacks and none of that chemical-packed junk the American market targets kids with (SOOO UNHEALTHY)!
Below, I created a list of staple foods I have in my pantry and refrigerator and that would be a good idea to have in yours if you’re trying to start a healthy life!
I may update these lists from time to time as I go on to discover new awesome food items that I like. In addition, stay tuned for a blog that will give you food ideas for all your meals! 🥰
