A DECADE FOR CHANGE.
Going into not only a new year, but a new decade, makes me feel there’s a need for big changes. There’s always room for improvement and ways to better our lifestyles.
For about seven years now, I’ve been longing for a healthy lifestyle that I could be completely accustomed to. In reality, I never fully committed — so with that being said, my lifestyle has been in need of a major facelift! And because of what I do, such as cooking and baking delicious & not-so-healthy foods, it didn’t really allow me to exactly be on the path I wanted to be on.
In other words, I feel that it has been holding me back. I don’t mean to use my recipes as an excuse, but a food blogger has to taste their food, don’t they?! I’m a huge fan of food. I love it. It even makes or breaks my moods. That’s how much I love food!
All in all, I’ve come to the realization that if I ever want to truly be adapted to a healthy lifestyle, I can no longer focus on creating deliciously unhealthy recipes that do not benefit me. I have the worst willpower — I would never be able to continue making all the good stuff without swallowing half of it whole!
So, I’ve decided to make some alterations to my website — alterations that’ll be beneficial to me and keep me on track as well as motivate others to enter a healthy lifestyle this year, too. It’s 2020, y’all. It’s about time we start giving our bodies what’s best for them! We deserve it.
WHAT’S COMING NEW IN 2020.
I want to be accustomed to a healthier lifestyle. This means I would like to choose more whole and organic foods, nothing with preservatives or chemicals, and none of the processed and artificial junk any longer. I want to eat fresh and pure foods that have not been chemically refined or genetically engineered. I simply want to make good, healthy, and wholesome savory and sweet recipes. So, you may find that my new recipes are tailored to be more organic, gluten-free, low-sugar, low-carb, and low-fat.
Don’t forget — I am a sucker for good food. So, my goal is to make my life (and yours) enjoyable while eating #guiltfreefood and staying on a healthy path. There’s no way I’m giving you guys a healthy recipe without me enjoying the hell out of it!
