HOMEMADE PANCAKES.
Nothing screams Saturday or Sunday morning more than a stack of homemade pancakes! Enjoy this simple and delicious recipe to use on the weekends with your family at the breakfast table. 🥞❤️
PREP: 5 M | COOK: 15 M | YIELDS: 12 pancakes
INGREDIENTs
- 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 3.5 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 5 tbsp sugar
- 1 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 egg
DIRECTIONS
- In a large mixing bowl, sift and combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- Making a well in the center of the dry ingredients, add the milk, melted butter, vanilla, and egg. Whisk until thick and creamy.
- Heat a pan on medium heat and melt 1/4 tbsp butter. Spoon a 1/4 cup of batter on the heated griddle at a time and brown on both sides. The first side will take a little longer (1-3 minutes, you’ll have to test it out on your griddle/pan). The second side usually just a minute.
NOTE: If you don’t finish all the pancakes, store them in a ziplock and refrigerate. Microwave the next morning and enjoy!

- 2 bananas, sliced
- 1 small handful of brown sugar
- 1 tbsp butter
DIRECTIONS:
- Heat the butter in a saucepan on med-high heat.
- Add the sliced bananas and top with brown sugar.
- Stir and sauté the bananas and brown sugar until soft and caramelized.
- Top your pancakes while warm and enjoy!
