Light Spicy Garlic Chicken Protein Pasta

This is a recipe I created that is light, low fat, and still tastes so delicious! I’m a huge pasta lover and sometimes I cannot consume 1,000 calories just to satisfy my cravings. This dish is so delicious you won’t even notice that it’s low calorie and low fat! The trick is in the very light sauce... You won’t forget the taste of this delicious homemade pasta! 🍝😋❤️

What You Need

- 7 thin chicken breasts, diced
- Protein Plus spaghetti, Barella
- 1/2 onion, sliced
- 1/2 jalapeño, chopped
- 1 tomato, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 2 cups 1% milk
- 1/4 cup fat free mozzarella cheese
- Garlic salt
- Black pepper
- Paprika
- Crushed red pepper
- Cumin
- Italian seasoning
- 1/2 can tomato sauce
- 2 tbsp chili garlic sauce

Note: You can add 2 cups of spinach to this recipe as an addiction or substitute of something you don’t have! Just sauté it with your onions and garlic in the beginning.


Directions

1. Cook pasta as directed on box before you begin. After washing you chicken, cut them into cubes and rub in garlic salt, black pepper, cumin, Italian seasoning, crushed red pepper, and paprika.

2. Heat a large saucepan with cooking spray or 2 tbsp of oil. When heated, throw in your garlic and onions and sauté until fragrant. Then, toss in your chicken and allow to cook while stirring every couple minutes while you’re cutting your other vegetables.

3. Add in tomatoes, red bell peppers, and jalapeños. Cook until chicken is no longer pink on the outside. Then, add in your milk and cheese. Allow the cheese to melt for a few minutes while continuously stirring, then add in your pasta and mix it thoroughly.

4. Toss in your tomatoe sauce, green onions, and chili garlic sauce. Stir well and allow to cook all together until chicken is well-done (about 5 more minutes).

5. Sprinkle in some more garlic salt, crushed red pepper, and black pepper according to taste. Allow to cook altogether for a few more minutes.
